The artisan kitchen

The artisan kitchen is located off Highway 580 at Marina Bay Parkway in Richmond (approximately 5 miles to the Bay bridge and 3 miles to the Richmond bridge). This is a beautifully deigned kitchen with skylights and heat sensored floors. The shared cooperative kitchen is approximately 4,000 square feet and fully equipped with the following:


individual and shared baking & prep stations

2 -20 qt hobart mixers

80 qt hobart mixer

4 convection ovens

2 roasting convention ovens

large commercial stove and char grill

1 commercial fryer

3 large walk-in cold storage

work tables and stainless steel storage shelving

Fully sound proof office with cable/phone ready outlets on second floor is available to rent with own private access


  • Each business using The Artisan Kitchen is a separate business entity.
  • Each business owner is responsible for complying with the city, state and federal regulations governing food related businesses concerning licensing, food safety and sanitation, taxes, employment, etc.
  • Each company must carry their own Health Permits (State, County or Farmers Market permits are allowed)
  • Commercial User must have a minimum of 1,000,000 of commercial liability insurance and have a rider of additional insured for The Artisan Kitchen established before use.
  • Commercial User must sign a Kitchen User’s Agreement, pay a refundable security deposit (equal to rent) a $500 non refundable membership fee

Monthly/Daily Rates


Day rates

Hourly $40.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)

Or pay by the month


15 hours a month - $525.00 a month

25 hours a month - $875.00 a month

15 hours a month - $1,400.00 a month


Part Time Rates are $2,600.00 up to 80 hours a month 2-3 day work week, additional charge for large appliance (refrigerator or freeze) or additional storage. Own area to prep with dry/cold storage

Full Time Rate are $3,600 a month 80-100 hours a month 5 day work week, additional charge for large appliance (refrigerator or freezer) or additional storage. Own area to prep with dry/cold storage


Optional Services:


Dry storage in kitchen ($100/month per shelf, $400/month per rack)

Refrigeration/freezer in kitchen ($200/month per shelf, $800/month per rack)

Full-time/Part time monthly tenants will have preferred access 24-hours a day, 7 days a week with own key and security access code.

Tenants have access to AKC Google calendar and manage their own time on premises.

All fees are inclusive of all cost, pg & e, water & waste, and parking
